Programs
The Student Empowerment Program

The Student Empowerment Program is a leadership initiative under Empowerment Society ATL that equips middle and high school students with the tools, confidence, and real-world experience needed to succeed in school, work, and life. Our program focuses on career readiness, college preparation, and community engagement.
Students participate in hands-on workshops, mentorship sessions, and leadership trainings. Through SEP, they learn essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism.
A key feature of the program is our internship experience, where selected students take on leadership roles within Empowerment Society ATL. Interns gain experience in areas like event planning, public speaking, nonprofit operations, and community outreach. These internships prepare students for future careers while giving them a platform to lead and serve their community.

Padres United ESA
Padres United is the parent engagement branch of Empowerment Society ATL. It was created to uplift and inform parents, especially Spanish-speaking families, so they can better support their children’s education and development.
The program offers monthly meetings and community events where families can learn about topics like navigating the school system, applying for college and financial aid, understanding mental health, and accessing local resources. These gatherings also feature guest speakers, workshops, and bilingual support to ensure everyone feels included.
Padres United focuses on building trust, sharing knowledge, and strengthening the connection between families and schools to help students thrive.

Volunteer Opportunities

Empowerment Society ATL offers meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to make a positive impact in their community. Volunteers are essential to the success of our programs and help bring our mission to life.
You can support us by helping at events, assisting during parent workshops, mentoring students, or managing behind-the-scenes tasks. One of our key volunteer opportunities is Fiesta de Libros, a partnership with the Latin American Association (LAA), where we distribute free books to families and create a welcoming space for children to fall in love with reading.
Whether you're a student looking for service hours or someone who simply wants to give back, Empowerment Society ATL welcomes your support as we work together to uplift and empower our community.
